  1. I really hate Giman beauty/ Modern beauty!!! It's so difficult to book an appointment with them even if u booked one month in advance and still subject to confirmation. When I signed my package, I told them I want an earlier time slot on weekdays for facial as they open at 12pm, which is too rush for me since I m working in the late afternoon. So they agreed to accept my facial appointment at 11.30am. But whenever I called to make appointment at 11.30am, they will tell me the earliest appointment has to be at 12pm, so I have to explain that this is the condition that they have agreed upon when I signed the contract. Normally they said they have to check with their managers and put me on hold on the phone, which is quite frustrating when you have to do this whenever u want to make an appointment. Sometimes, they will come up with a lot of excuses for not accepting my appointment at 11.30am, such as shortage of manpower, the manager who you signed the contract has left the company so the current manager is not obliged to fulfill the condition. They are so good at shifting blame and customers have to accommodate to whatever policies the company has and not the other way round.
    Today, I couldn't take it anymore when I was asked to sign an indemnity form which protect their company's interest but not the customer's. It was stated in the form that whatever discomfort experienced during the facial, the company will not be liable and all medical expenses will have to be borne by the customer. This is unfair to customers since the company's beauticians are the ones performing the facials, so they should be responsible if anything goes wrong. They said if I don't sign the form, they can't do the facial for me. I was so frustrated that I left and I asked the manager at the Toa Payoh Central branch at Blk 177 for a refund. But she said she doesn't have the authority to do so and will ask their customer service officer Yiping to call me on Monday. So before I leave, I ask for the manager's name and the beautician's name, but they refused to give me, worried that I will lodge a complaint against them which I will like to do so because of their hostile attitude towards customers. This is my first time being shouted by a beauty salon manager and she is not remorseful for providing such bad service to customers. This is my worst experience ever! I really regretted signing the package with them and got myself so upset, very reluctant to go for facials and don't look forward to it, just want to finish the remaining facials in my package. I don't want to see those people again and let them earn my money anymore. So be a smart consumer and don't engage their service.
